BIO

Plain Jane One is illustrates traditional styles, Slavic motifs and hiphop related motifs. In the broader perspective; tattooing as it is today.

My trademark is how I choose my needles, that I only work by hand, my composition style and that I believe in the slow process of tattooing and the history behind it. Culture and pictures in particular heal ur brain and our soul in ways we can prove but not always explain. As a kid I had one of those experiences and I have loved tattoos since then!

I take pride in welcoming people with special requests may it be because of sensitivity to materials, because everyone has a right to get tattooed the way they wish; within the physical limits of this world.

I also believe that abuse is unnecessary but present in the Industry (as I myself have experienced it home and in my apprenticeship in  hiphop). I don’t agree with that. The conversation during tattooing and your healing process plays a part for you as an individual in the longer run and is telling a story of why you get the tattoo. It is the journey of this art form! We stand still and travel; always.

I can start yours, be a part of it or seal it but above all; always feel welcome to ask me about something you would like done and I will find a way! If not; I always recommend someone who can.

I am nurse grade trained in Western medicine; which means I have education on infectious diseases, contamination and needle handling from a care profession. This makes your experience safe and I follow all restrictions and laws necessary wherever I tattoo in the world. I am also trained In medical Psychology, skin illnesses and Microbiology from my training as a Naprapah in Sweden, in co-teching with Karolinska institutet. My training as an artist mainly springs from the hiphop method, my craft heritage, classical music, seing music, grafitti, drawing, beauty and self-teaching methods under mentoring and scrutiny since the age of 5. I have been an international artist since the age of 14 and I have a rare apprenticeship from hiphop from both Sweden America; and Europe; which is the foundation of how my independent work as hiphop and urban artist matured.

Since I do majority traditional; I now study and process the Sailor flora globally, starting from my foundation on the Swedish West Coast and Öresund. I am interested in pigment research and I always read up on articles and research. Learning is for life!

I speak Swedish and English Fluently, French and Scandinavian accents. I also understand Spanish and German.

If you wish to report a mishapp, from an earlier tattoo this is something I write down and collect! It is called a minority report and it is anonymous and will contribute to tattooing being safer; in Sweden, Europe and worldwide!

My wish is to give you the experience and art piece you want and to hopefully share and give you what is so special about getting a tattoo!

Welcome,

Anna
